One of our Sisters in Arms did this to fighther own demons but also to address Veteran Suicides!

Army Veteran Tiffany Freeze, an Art Institute of Colorado student majoring in fashion design created the dress to both introduce herself to the fashion world and to make peace with her demons. The dress wasn’t just gorgeous, it was steeped in meaning.

One of our founding members, Brian "Tree" Neal, passed away early the morning of March 1, 2018. His impact on not just our chapter, but on the community as a whole is incalculable, and he is, and will be, greatly missed.

There will be a celebration of Tree's life, this Sunday, March 11, 2018, at 2pm, at the Tuolumne Veterans Memorial Hall where we held our meetings. Full military services are being held, and it would be an honor for those who are able to come, and lift up this man's spirit to that final duty station that so many of our Brothers and Sisters have gone to before us.

VA Secretary Shulkin is a snake whom never served reallocated funds earmarked for Homeless Veterans!

Since 2011, veteran homelessness has decreased 90% in New York City.

The Veterans Empowerment Act, introduced by Rep. Doug Lamborn, R-Colo., would allow veterans to bypass Veterans Affairs and receive treatment from private-sector doctors with taxpayers money. The VFW criticized the legislation.
