Preston County Schools is excited to welcome back students next week. However, we will not be able to use our planned staggered start based on advisement from the WV Department of Education. All grade 1-12 students will now be required to attend on Monday, August 18th. All Kindergarten and Pre-K students will now be required to attend on Wednesday, August 20th. There will be no scheduled school for students on Friday, August 22nd. We greatly apologize for the required change in schedule; however, all available efforts were made to maintain the staggered start schedule without success. There is a planned power outage that will affect the South Preston School area, including the school, and Fellowsville area on August 12th from 8:00AM-5:00PM. If you're to be affected by this, you should've received communications from the power company. South Preston School Staff should not be trying to work at South during this time.

The PCS Student Information Form for the 25/26 SY is now live. Please take the time to complete one for each of your students prior to the start of the school year. Preston County Schools will be offering a Bus Driver Class beginning on July 28th. This position offers summers off, flexible hours, family medical, dental and vision insurance, and a retirement plan for full -time employment. – No High School diploma required. Sign-ups for West Preston Youth Football, ages 4 to 12 interested in playing or cheerleading, will take place this evening at the West Preston Youth Field from 6 to 8. You don't have to attend the West Preston area to play. If your town doesn't have a team, you're welcome to join.
