💙 WCSNA is incredibly grateful for the generous support from the Wyoming County United Way, which helps make our Education Advocacy Program possible!

WCSNA provides 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐲 services to individuals and families in our community who need support navigating the education system.

Our advocacy services include 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐄𝐏𝐬, 𝟓𝟎𝟒 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬, 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬, 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬, and helping families advocate for the services and supports their child needs to succeed. 📚✏️

Navigating special education can be overwhelming, and no family should have to do it alone. This funding allows us to help families better understand the process, find their voice, and advocate for their children.

🍎🍂 Getting into the fall spirit at WCSNA! 🍂🍎

A couple of friends had a great time making candy and caramel apples with assistance from WCSNA staff! ❤️ Activities like this are a fun way to build skills, socialize, and enjoy time together.

And those apples turned out pretty amazing! 😍🍏🍎

WCSNA has recently had the opportunity to begin working with the Tunkhannock Area Recreation Association (TARA), and we are so grateful for the relationship we are building! Their commitment to creating opportunities that are welcoming and inclusive for people of all abilities means so much to us.

TARA is currently holding a hoodie fundraiser, and we encourage our friends and families to check it out! They do so much for our community, and we’re proud to cheer them on! 💙

Why 71? Because we couldn't sell 142 hats so we took away 71 and now maybe we'll sell 71 hoodies.

What an AMAZING evening! 💙🌳

We are so grateful for the incredible turnout at our End of Summer Picnic at Lazybrook Park tonight! Our pavilion was filled with more than 40 clients, staff, friends, and supporters enjoying an evening together.

A huge thank you to Pattie and Paul from Pattie's Waggin' Tails Senior Sanctuary for joining us and bringing some of the wonderful dogs from their sanctuary! 🐾❤️ They were such a special addition to the evening and definitely brought lots of smiles.

There was something for everyone—basketball, soccer, co****le, wiffle ball, great food, plenty of laughs, and most importantly, LOTS of conversation and socializing! 🏀⚽️

This is exactly what evenings like this are all about: friendship, inclusion, community, and creating opportunities for everyone to connect and simply have FUN together. 💙

Thank you to our amazing staff for helping with transportation and making sure so many of our clients could attend. Seeing that pavilion so full made all the planning worth it!
