Family Education and Support Services is a dynamic nonprofit 501c3 organization launched in 2000 with a purpose to inspire healthy child development by providing quality training and support services. As a result of our work families:

Families receive services that are collaborative, accountable, evidence based and subject to external evaluation.

Family Education & Support Services is honored to announce that we have been awarded a $25,000 grant from Cambia Health Foundation in support of our Kinship Case Manager Program.

This generous investment will directly strengthen our ability to serve kinship caregivers—relatives and family friends who step in to raise children when parents are unable to. With Cambia’s support, we will continue providing vital case management, advocacy, and connection to resources across our region.

We are deeply grateful to Cambia Health Foundation for recognizing the importance of kinship care and investing in the families who quietly hold so much together. Their commitment helps us extend not just services, but also stability, hope, and belonging to the communities we serve.

Families across our community are struggling to afford basic necessities, and the need for diapers continues to grow. At FESS, we are seeing more parents and caregivers turn to us for help keeping their babies healthy and cared for.

You can help by donating unopened packages of diapers in any size, especially sizes 4–6 and pull-ups. Donations can also include wipes or financial gifts that allow us to purchase diapers in bulk for local families in need. Every donation makes a direct impact for children and parents in our community.

Donations can be dropped off at our Thurston County office, Monday-Friday.
