Join us in celebrating Sheridan on earning her Master of Social Work from OU School of Social Work !🎉🎓

Clients first met her through the NOURISH-OK Study, but she officially became part of our team this past semester as an intern while completing her practicum requirements.

It’s bittersweet to see her time with Tulsa CARES come to an end, but we are so grateful for the care, compassion, and enthusiasm she brought to our team and clients.

Congratulations, Sheridan! We’ll be cheering you on in your future endeavors!

On National Hepatitis Testing Day, we want to say wado to Cherokee Nation for inviting us to be part of this special day and celebration! We’re grateful for this continuous partnership and shared commitment to improving community health.

Testing is the first step to knowing your status, and knowing your status can change your life.

At CARES Health, you can get tested and, if needed, receive treatment all in one place. With on-site labs, an HCV specialist, pharmacy, and case management, our team is here to help you navigate every step of your care.

Appointments are preferred, but walk-in testing is available from 8:30AM-4PM.

Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are a serious public health concern, and addressing them takes all of us taking action together. 🩷

In response to STI rates in Tulsa, Amplify Tulsa and the Tulsa STI Task Force are launching the Tulsa STI Action Plan. The Action Plan brings together data and recommendations from partners, the community, and medical experts to move us closer to a shared vision of stigma-free STI prevention and care for everyone.

Our entire community has a role to play in preventing and responding to STIs. Check out the full report and audience-specific one-pagers at https://bit.ly/STIActionPlan.

We’re proud to be part of the Tulsa STI Task Force and grateful to stand alongside partners, advocates, and community members who are helping shape a more connected, stigma-free future for STI prevention and care.

This STI Awareness Month, we’re launching the Tulsa STI Action Plan ⬇️

Right now, Tulsa stands at the epicenter of a growing public health crisis, with Oklahoma having some of the highest rates of STIs (sexually transmitted infections) in the country.

While numerous dedicated organizations throughout Tulsa have implemented impactful prevention and treatment initiatives to support our communities, these efforts remain largely disconnected – operating in silos that limit their collective effectiveness. 🩷

The Tulsa STI Action Plan brings together data and recommendations from partners, the community, and medical experts – all aiming to bring us closer to our shared vision of a community where stigma-free STI prevention and care are a reality for everyone.

Visit https://bit.ly/STIActionPlan to read the Tulsa STI Action Plan and find out how you can support creating a Tulsa where everyone has access to the education, testing, and treatment they deserve.
