Check out this great photo of Graham's Drive-In in Wellston, which stood at the 'Y' about where the Phillips 66 Station is today. We are so excited for June 18th, when we'll unveil the newest Will Rogers Highway marker as a part of the national Route 66 Centennial Caravan tour!

One of our 'tagalong' participants sent along this photo from the late 1970s, featuring his 1973 Corvette 'somewhere in Oklahoma'. After a little research (thank you Jerry Mcclanahan!), we discovered this is the former Graham's Drive-in in Wellston, Oklahoma! Not far from here, the Caravan will be stopping on June 18th to unveil a new Will Rogers Highway Marker. Thanks for the photo, Terry!

In honor of the Route 66 Centennial Caravan, which launches from Santa Monica, CA on June 6th, we worked with Oklahoma band The Hi-Fi Hillbillies to cover Nelson Riddle's excellent theme to the Route 66 TV series from the 1960s. The American Solar Challenge is coming to Oklahoma Route 66! The event will have a checkpoint in Tulsa on July 30th and an overnight stop in Elk City on July 31st.
