Cedar RidgeElementary School Cedar Ridge Elementary School, Union’s 10th elementary school. Cedar Ridge opened in August of 1995 and was named after the area in which the school was built.

Cedar Ridge is proud to have students, parents and teachers striving toward good character, a lifetime of learning and reaching for success. Welcome to Cedar Ridge Elementary, one of 13 elementary schools in the Union Public Schools district, serving more than 550 students from pre-K through the 5th grade. The school is located in the southern portion of the district and lies within the Tulsa city

limits. Union Public Schools is a suburban school district – the eighth largest in Oklahoma – serving over 15,000 students, grades pre-K through 12, in southeast Tulsa and part of Broken Arrow. The district’s 19 schools are nationally recognized in four strategic areas: Early Childhood Education, Community Schools, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), and College/Career Readiness. Incoming Cedar Ridge pre-kindergarten students had the school to themselves this morning for a pre-kindergarten orientation camp.

While parents toured the school, little ones enjoyed time with their new teachers and enjoyed some activities to better acquaint themselves with their new environment and reduce their anxiety when school starts on Thursday, August 13.

Funding for the program is courtesy of the Union Schools Education Foundation.
