LABOR DAY SAFETY: ENJOY THE HOLIDAY & STAY SAFE!
Labor Day weekend is a time for family, friends, cookouts, road trips, and enjoying the last days of summer. ☀️ But with more people traveling and spending time outdoors, it’s also important to keep safety in mind!
Here are a few simple reminders:
🚗 Drive safely
Wear your seat belt, put the phone down, never drive impaired, and make sure children are properly secured.
🔥 Grill with care
Keep grills outdoors, never leave them unattended, and keep children and pets safely away.
🏊 Be water-wise
Always supervise children around water, wear life jackets when needed, and never swim under the influence of alcohol.
☀️ Watch the heat
Stay hydrated, take breaks from the heat, and remember that summer temperatures can still be dangerous.
🎆 Use caution with fireworks
Follow local laws and safety instructions, keep a safe distance, and never allow young children to handle fireworks.
🩹 Have an emergency plan
Keep a first-aid kit handy, know where to go for emergency care, and make sure everyone knows how to call 911.
Most importantly, enjoy the holiday and look out for one another! ❤️
And should an accident or emergency occur, our EMS and emergency services are available 24/7 to provide care when you need it most. 🚑
Have a happy, healthy, and safe Labor Day weekend!
