Here's a reminder: Your safety is more important than candy! Children are more than twice as likely to be struck and killed by a vehicle on Halloween than on any other day of the year. Follow these tips to help everyone have a safe and fun Halloween.

Real heroes stay drug free!

That's the message EMSA and the Tulsa Health Department are sending during Red Ribbon Week!

Recently, EMSA EMT Garrett T. and our friends from Tulsa Fire Department & Tulsa Police Department greeted students as they departed Bell Elementary School to help spread the message.

Festivities will continue throughout the week at several more schools!

BOOHAHA 👻

EMSA clinicians and fleet technicians were happy to join the Tulsa community at the Brookside BooHaHa Halloween Celebration and parade this weekend.

Families were able to tour our not-so-scary EMSA ambulance and take home some goodies handed out by our not-so-spooky EMTs.

New EMSA Ambulance Alert! 🚑

Yesterday, Paramedic Christian M. & EMT Lorisa S., and Paramedic Craig P. & EMT Jonathan C., were the two lucky crews to take Ambulance 128 and Ambulance 118 out for their first shifts on the streets of Tulsa.

Before a new ambulance responds to its first call, the crew assigned to the unit signs and dates beneath the hood. It's a simple tradition that recognizes the team members who help put the ambulance into service.

If you see Ambulance 128 or Ambulance 118 while on your commute, be sure to give them a wave and try not to hurt your eyes looking at the shiny, new exterior.

Cody C., our Learning Experience Specialist, led hands-on training for our Tulsa EMTs and Paramedics this week, covering new procedures, advanced equipment, and a refresher in important skills.

Our latest group of graduates have successfully completed the EMSA Academy! After spending weeks under the guidance of Paramedic and Academy Instructor Kaise C. learning EMSA policy, procedures, local geography, and so much more, they are now ready to serve the people of our great OKC community with .
