Spread the word about a free workshop available to men in the Tulsa community. The Strong Dads program is open to any male who is — or will be — in a role model position for a child. This includes fathers, stepfathers, uncles, grandfathers, or any male caregivers.
Over the course of 12 weeks, the workshop covers topics such as:
Understanding manhood and personal history
The role and responsibilities of a father
Healthy communication
Discipline strategies
Coparenting skills
Participants receive weekly gas cards and may earn up to $100 in Walmart gift cards upon completion. Classes are held quarterly and are offered in both English and Spanish.
