Over 2,400 responses and counting.

We’ve already passed our original goal, but now we’re focused on making sure every part of Tulsa is represented before the survey closes on Sunday, May 31.

To do so, we still need more input from a few areas!

And if you took the survey last year, this year’s survey is completely new and will help shape the City Auditor’s 2026–2027 audit plan.

Take a few minutes and make sure your perspective is included.

Your input helps shape the City Auditor’s 2026-2027 audit plan and there’s still time to add your voice!

Don’t just take our word for it—hear from a Tulsa resident.

We asked residents who have taken the Evaluate the 918 survey what they think and why it matters.

If you haven’t taken it yet, there’s still time to share your perspective.

What should the City take a closer look at?

That’s exactly what the Evaluate the 918 survey helps answer.

Last year, your input led to audits on roads and homelessness—and we’re doing it again this year.

If you have a few minutes, we’d love for you to take the survey and share your perspective.

How do we decide what to audit?

It starts with listening.

Before launching our audit of Tulsa’s Authorities, Boards, and Commissions, we spoke with councilors, board members, staff, and residents to understand how these groups operate and where risks may exist.

Our Deputy City Auditor explains that process—and some of the themes that emerged — in this video.

The full ABCs pre-audit report is now available on our website.

I appreciated the chance to speak with members of the Tulsa Republican Club today about how I approach this role and how our audit plan comes together.

One thing I always try to emphasize: our audit priorities aren’t set behind closed doors. They’re built through risk assessment, data, and listening to people across Tulsa. Conversations like this help ensure our work stays focused on what matters most to residents.

We want to know: What do YOU want to know?

As part of our upcoming Data Governance audit, we’re examining how the City of Tulsa manages its data—how it’s protected, how reliable it is, and how non-sensitive data can be shared to support transparency and informed decision-making.

To help guide this work, we’re inviting Tulsans to share what kinds of data they’d like to see publicly available.

Drop your ideas in the comments, send us a DM, or email [email protected]
