Tulsa Public Schools has a special treat for 3 lucky students! 🎉
In celebration of Attendance Awareness Month, three students will have the opportunity to win Mega Passes to Incredible Pizza! 🍕
🏫 CONTEST THEME:
“School Is Better When I’m Here!”
🎨 HOW TO ENTER:
Students will create an original piece of artwork based on the theme “School Is Better When I’m Here.”
Your artwork should show:
✨ Why being at school matters
✨ Why showing up to school every day is important
✨ What makes school better when YOU are here!
🖍️ STUDENT ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS:
Each student should:
• Create ONE original artwork piece based on the theme.
• Be creative! Students may use crayons, markers, paint, construction paper, glitter, stickers, collage materials, or other art supplies.
• Write their full name, grade, teacher, and school on the back of the artwork.
• Complete the artwork at home and submit it by the deadline.
💡 WHAT SHOULD THE ARTWORK SHOW?
Students may choose to show how being at school helps them:
✨ Learn and Grow: Learn new things, practice skills, ask questions, and grow.
✨ Build Friendships: Spend time with friends, classmates, and staff.
✨ Participate: Take part in activities, projects, recess, clubs, events, and other school experiences.
✨ Show School Spirit: Bring their own personality, talents, and ideas to their school.
✨ Prepare for the Future: Build habits and skills that help them succeed.
✨ Make a Difference: Recognize that every student is an important part of their school community.
The overall message should reflect:
“My presence matters, and my school is better when I’m here.”
📅 ARTWORK DUE: FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2026
📥 HOW TO SUBMIT:
Once your child has completed their artwork, please bring it to the Celia Clinton Elementary School office before Friday, September 11th and give it to Ms. Lunsford so it can be submitted for the contest.

🏫 TEMA DEL CONCURSO:
“¡La escuela es mejor cuando estoy aquí!”
🎨 CÓMO PARTICIPAR:
Los estudiantes crearán una obra de arte original basada en el tema “La escuela es mejor cuando estoy aquí.”
Tu obra de arte debe mostrar:
✨ Por qué es importante estar en la escuela
✨ Por qué es importante asistir a la escuela todos los días
✨ ¡Qué hace que la escuela sea mejor cuando TÚ estás aquí!
🖍️ REQUISITOS DE LA OBRA DE ARTE:
Cada estudiante debe:
• Crear UNA obra de arte original basada en el tema.
• ¡Ser creativo! Los estudiantes pueden usar crayones, marcadores, pintura, papel de construcción, brillantina, calcomanías, materiales para collage u otros materiales de arte.
• Escribir su nombre completo, grado, maestro(a) y escuela en la parte de atrás de la obra.
• Completar la obra de arte en casa y entregarla antes de la fecha límite.
💡 ¿QUÉ DEBE MOSTRAR LA OBRA DE ARTE?
Los estudiantes pueden elegir mostrar cómo asistir a la escuela les ayuda a:
✨ Aprender y crecer: Aprender cosas nuevas, practicar habilidades, hacer preguntas y crecer.
✨ Crear amistades: Pasar tiempo con amigos, compañeros de clase y miembros del personal escolar.
✨ Participar: Tomar parte en actividades, proyectos, recreo, clubes, eventos y otras experiencias escolares.
✨ Demostrar espíritu escolar: Llevar su propia personalidad, talentos e ideas a su escuela.
✨ Prepararse para el futuro: Desarrollar hábitos y habilidades que les ayuden a tener éxito.
✨ Hacer la diferencia: Reconocer que cada estudiante es una parte importante de su comunidad escolar.
El mensaje general debe reflejar:

📅 FECHA LÍMITE PARA ENTREGAR LA OBRA: VIERNES 11 DE SEPTIEMBRE DE 2026
📥 CÓMO ENTREGARLA:
Una vez que su hijo(a) haya terminado su obra de arte, por favor llévela a la oficina de Celia Clinton Elementary School antes del viernes 11 de septiembre y entréguesela a la Sra. Lunsford para que pueda ser enviada al concurso.
