💪 PERRY FRIDAY AT OWASSO HIGH SCHOOL! 🇺🇸

Had an absolute blast today with the fitness classes at Owasso High School! Five straight hours of working out with 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th hour—and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

One of the best parts of my job with the Oklahoma Army National Guard is getting the opportunity to pour into the future generation of Oklahoma. Whether any of these students ever choose to serve in the Guard or not, I want them to walk away knowing one thing: you are capable of more than you think.

If I can push them a little outside their comfort zone, motivate them to work harder, build some confidence, and encourage them to be better—in the classroom, in fitness, and in life—then it was a successful day.

Today was about more than a workout. It was about effort, discipline, teamwork, and proving to yourself that you can keep going when your mind tells you to stop.

Absolutely love what I get to do and the students I get to work with!

Had a blast at Owasso High School today! 💪🇺🇸

I had the opportunity to talk with a little over 100 students about what the Oklahoma Army National Guard is, what we do, and—more importantly—how it can help open doors for them after high school.

Whether it’s helping pay for college, building job skills, gaining real-world experience, developing leadership, or serving right here in Oklahoma, there are opportunities in the Guard that a lot of students simply don’t know exist.

One of my favorite parts of this job is getting in front of students, hearing about their goals, and showing them that there may be a path to get where they want to go without taking on a mountain of debt.

Every conversation is an opportunity to plant a seed and potentially change someone’s future. Grateful for every chance I get to share what the Oklahoma Army National Guard has to offer!

Had a great time at the Tahlequah Area Career Fair talking with seniors about their plans after graduation and showing them just how many doors the Oklahoma Army National Guard can open! 🇺🇸

From 100% tuition and fees at Oklahoma public colleges through a master’s degree, to the GI Bill, GI Bill Kicker, paid job training, monthly drill pay, leadership experience, and career opportunities—the Guard gives students a way to pursue their goals while serving right here at home.

We had a TON of interest today, and I love having the opportunity to spread the word about the amazing benefits the OKARNG has to offer. Helping students find a path toward college, career, financial freedom, and purpose is one of the best parts of what I do!

🇺🇸 WELCOME TO THE OKLAHOMA ARMY NATIONAL GUARD, PFC ADISUN WIEDOWER! 🇺🇸

This one has been a long time coming!

PFC Wiedower started his enlistment journey in September 2025, and nearly a year later, after overcoming obstacle after obstacle, his resilience and determination have finally brought him to this moment.

Now, he has an incredible future ahead of him. PFC Wiedower plans to attend Rogers State University before continuing his education at the University of Oklahoma, where he plans to pursue medical school. With the Oklahoma Army National Guard providing 100% tuition and fees through a master’s degree, he has an incredible opportunity to serve his state while pursuing his educational and career goals.

Adisun, you earned this. Your determination throughout this process showed me exactly the kind of Soldier you’re capable of becoming.

Go do BIG things, PFC Wiedower! I’m proud of you and excited to see where this journey takes you! 🇺🇸💪

One of my favorite parts of serving as a recruiter with the Oklahoma Army National Guard is getting to be involved in the schools and communities that we serve. These teachers pour so much time, energy, and heart into developing the future generation of Oklahoma, and I’m grateful for any opportunity to give back—even in a small way.
