Green Country Firefighters Association The purpose of this project is to raise funds for local firefighter programs. These funds are used Programs to maintain safe working conditions for Firefighters.

The Green Country Firefighters make Green Country a safer place to live, work, and enjoy activities. Project LIFE (living in a fire safe environment), Providing smoke detectors to those who cannot afford one or are not able to install one on their own. Community information programs on fire prevention and Firefighter services, which include providing CPR training for individuals. Strengthening programs to prevent death and injury to firefighters and citizens at the scene of emergencies.

Through a new PFFO grant program, Oklahoma firefighters from Bartlesville Professional Firefighters Local 200, Enid L-243, Glenpool Firefighters IAFF Local 2990, and Pauls Valley Professional Firefighter Association IAFF Local 4455 are attending the IAFF Strive for Excellence Summit this week. The event offers 19 tracks of training and education.

MAJOR UPDATE IN BARTLESVILLE: Arbitration Panel Sides with the Firefighters

Following testimony from witnesses and extensive fact based documentation presented before an Arbitrator, the Firefighters’ last best Contract offer has officially been accepted and approved.

This decision comes after the January 19, 2026 hearing in Bartlesville and reflects the Arbitrator’s careful review of all arguments and evidence submitted by both the City and the Firefighters.

The Arbitrator will submit her extensive and thorough written decision by the end of the day on February 20th.

Additional updates and information will be provided as they become available.
