"Two shot due to road rage Tuesday afternoon"

Tulsa Police Department announced the arrest of a suspect in Yesterday's road rage shooting near I-244 and Sheridan.

Tulsa Police along with Tulsa Fire Department Firefighters with Engine 15 and Engine 17, and EMSA responded to a Shooting in the Arby's parking lot near I-244 and Sheridan.

When Officers arrived, they discovered a man down in the parking lot near his vehicle, and a second victim, a woman who was inside the vehicle. Officers provided life-saving measures until Firefighters and Emsa took over. Both were transported to Tulsa Hospitals. Unfortunately, the man that had been shot multiple times, succumbed to injuries at the hospital.

During the investigation, what we know-

The suspect, 20yr old Dezmin Day had followed the victims into the parking lot, where he recklessly and cowardly shot both victims.

Thanks to witnesses, they were able to give Police a description of the suspect and the suv he was driving. Officers on patrol near Downtown spotted a vehicle matching the description given and performed a traffic stop. The driver was detained and taken to Detective Division. The suspect admitted to Detectives that the shooting stemmed from a road rage incident, when when he followed the victims into the parking lot, he had blocked the victims vehicle in, and when the male victim stepped out, although unarmed, the suspect shot him multiple times, then shot into the vehicle as well due to it being occupied.

Officers doing an inventory of the vehicle the suspect was driving, a firearm with extended magazine was discovered. The cereal # (Serial) had been filed off, so it is unknown if the firearm is stolen, so the investigation into that is ongoing.

The suspect, 20yr old Dezmin Day has been booked into Tulsa County Jail for-

-A&B W/DEADLY WEAPON
-FELONY MURDER 2ND DEGREE

Additional charges may also be filed as the investigation continues.

Although lanes are not blocked, just be aware of Glenpool Firefighters along with Officers with Glenpool Police Department and Muscogee Nation Lighthorse Police Department are on scene of a two vehicle collision at or near 201st and South Hwy 75. Mainly at the intersection near the median that separates North and Southbound Lanes.

Non-Injury collision.

Lighthorse Police are investigating the collision.

"Man arrested after running from traffic stop in Glenpool"

This afternoon around 1300hrs (1pm), Tulsa County Sheriff's Office Deputy on patrol performed a traffic stop due to the driver speeding near 151st and Peoria. The Pickup was occupied by multiple people. As Deputies were making contact with the Driver, he Elected to exit and run off on foot into a nearby wooded area.

Additional Deputies along with Officers with the Glenpool Police Department arrived, setting up a perimeter around the area as a K9 began tracking. Residents were asked to avoid the area and or stay inside. Due to the suspects actions, the area was under siege during the manhunt.

Just after 1500hrs, The K9 tracked to an area off the beaten path, where Deputies took the suspect into custody without incident.

The suspect ran due to warrants, one being a Felony warrant outta Creek County for second degree Burglary. The others that were in the vehicle were released after being detained.

A resident where the pickup ended up had to wait til the arrest was made, although inconvenienced due to the situation, was pleased that Deputies captured the suspect.

Although the suspect wearing a faded greenish T-shirt, the TCSO K9 Bloodhound was able to locate him as the suspect attempted to camouflage himself with the Dry Oklahoma foliage... 😬😅🙄😉🤦‍♂️

Great all around work by all of those involved. TCSO Deputies, K9 and Handler, along with Officers with Glenpool Police. 🫡💪

The suspect has been Identified as 42yr old Austin Bo Turner, he was booked into Tulsa County Jail for his warrants along with additional charges. Seems that while at booking, it was learned that Bo also had additional warrants outta Carter County.

Seems Turner has a thing for speeding as the Deputy had pulled him over for .... "Speeding"...

Morals of the story- If ya got warrants, maybe not speed, and if you don't shower for days and have a case of the swamp ass, maybe not run from Law Enforcement, because the K9 will always smell your HBO...

"Woman arrested following deadly hit and Run along Westbound I-44 Thursday Night"

Oklahoma Highway Patrol investigated a deadly Hit and Run along I-44 Westbound near Elwood.

Tulsa Fire Department along with EMSA, Tulsa Police Department, and OHP responded to a man down call along I-44 Westbound near Elwood Thursday night Sept 10th. just after 830pm.

A man was discovered dowm along the outside shoulder and preliminary investigation was that the man had succumbed to injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle. With the driver leaving the scene.

With no answer OHP Traffic Homicide investigation unit began an investigation, with tips, as well as leads, and evidence recovered at the scene, a vehicle, along with a suspect was identified.

A woman was arrested Friday September 11th, and she has been Identified as 26yr old Samantha Wood, she has been booked in the Tulsa County Jail for-

-DUI - GREAT BODILY INJURY/DEATH
-MANSLAUGHTER 1ST DEGREE
- CAUSE ACCIDENT W/O DL-DEATH
-LEAVE SCENE INJURY ACCIDENT/DEATH
-F/T STAY IN LANE

Reports are that the suspect failed to maintain her lane, and struck the victim while he walked along the outside shoulder. The victim has been Identified as 40yr old Joshua Holahta...
