Through the East Central Feeder Pattern, SupportLink brings coordinated support directly to families across the feeder pattern. Inspired by the Medical Legal Partnership model, the hub creates a central access point for services by embedding legal and resource support within the school setting.

Recently, staff and community partners participated in a Legal Aid training supported by the Oklahoma Access to Justice Foundation, strengthening their ability to connect students and families to critical resources. By equipping those closest to students with the tools to identify needs and make referrals, the Housing Hub can respond more quickly when challenges arise.

Housing instability continues to impact attendance, well-being, and long-term opportunity. By aligning school, legal, and community supports, this work helps stabilize families and keep students connected to their education.

Getting your child ready for Pre-K starts with a few key documents.

To enroll, families will need:
• A state-certified birth certificate (no footprints)
• A driver’s license or photo ID for the parent or legal guardian
• Required immunizations and proof
• Proof of residence, such as a current gas, water, or electric bill

Some districts may also ask for a current lease agreement or housing contract that includes the property address and tenant information.

Today, students across Tulsa are making decisions about where they will go next. National College Decision Day is a celebration of those choices and the people who helped make them possible.

We also recognize that a single decision is part of a much larger journey. For many students, reaching this moment requires access, guidance, and systems that work together.

Starting school is a big step for young children. Pre-K helps make that transition easier.

In Pre-K classrooms, children begin learning the everyday rhythms of school. They practice listening during group time, taking turns, following simple routines, and participating alongside other children.

Over time, students who attend Pre-K are less likely to be held back and less likely to miss school regularly, helping set the stage for long-term success

This week is Youth Violence Prevention Week, a reminder that youth safety requires coordinated action across our community.

Through the Tulsa Community Violence Intervention initiative, ImpactTulsa has helped support My Brother’s Keeper Tulsa, the City of Tulsa Gov, Terence Crutcher Foundation, and Youth Services of Tulsa with key data to implement strategies. This collective effort helps to prevent violence and expand opportunity for Tulsa Youth.

In Tulsa, postsecondary education, college access, and career pathways must be aligned for student success.

Too often, students navigating college and career pathways face gaps between high school, higher education, and the workforce. Without aligned systems, persistence and completion become harder.

The Tulsa Higher Education Consortium is helping close those gaps. By aligning colleges, universities, and workforce partners, the consortium strengthens postsecondary access, persistence, and career-connected pathways for Tulsa students.
When systems are aligned, students have clearer direction and stronger support from high school to college to career.

That’s how Tulsa is building infrastructure that supports long-term economic mobility.
