After years of leadership, dedication, and steady guidance, we’re celebrating Roxanne as she retires from her role at LIFE Senior Services. 💙

Roxanne has helped shape LIFE into what it is today — leading with compassion, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to older adults in our community. Her impact can be seen not only in the programs and services she helped grow, but in the people she encouraged and supported along the way.

While we’ll miss her leadership every day, we’re incredibly grateful for everything she’s given to LIFE and the countless lives she’s touched throughout her career.

You're too old to start exercising.

We hear it all the time. And it's wrong.

Starting at 60, 70, even 80 — your body still responds. Your muscles still build. Your balance still improves. Walking still counts. A lot.
The only exercise that doesn't work is the one you never start.

LIFE's Active Senior Center has fitness classes for every level. No judgment. Just movement. Save this for someone who thinks it's too late. It's not. 💛

The way some musicians play, you think they'll never die. Theodore "Sonny" Rollins was such a man: A saxophonist revered for his huge tone and seemingly inexhaustible improvisations. Rollins died Monday afternoon at his Woodstock, N.Y. home at the age of 95.

The legendary jazz saxophonist, who revolutionized the art of improvisation, died Monday at his home in Woodstock, N.Y.
