Strong advocacy starts with strong relationships.

This week, members of the Oklahoma State Home Builders Association and our Tulsa delegation spent time on Capitol Hill meeting with congressional leaders to discuss the issues impacting housing affordability, workforce development, permitting, and the future of home building across Oklahoma.

We’re proud to stand alongside industry leaders who are working to ensure good policy continues to open doors for homeowners, builders, and communities alike.

Thank you to everyone who represented Oklahoma so well in Washington, D.C.🏡

Good policy opens doors. 🏡

That’s why the Tulsa HBA Government Affairs team continues to stay actively engaged at the local, state, and national levels — advocating for policies, leadership, and decisions that support housing, economic growth, and the future of our industry.

Recent updates include:
• Tulsa HBA-endorsed candidates receiving support ahead of the June 16 election
• Ongoing monitoring of leadership changes in Bixby following the Mayor’s resignation and City Manager’s suspension
• Meetings scheduled with Oklahoma’s Congressional leaders on June 10 in Washington, D.C.

The 2026 Tulsa Parade of Homes opens in less than two weeks — and this year's event is the most comprehensive new home showcase in the region.

More than 100 homes. More than 40 of the Tulsa metro's top builders. Prices ranging from $250,000 to over $1 million. Nine days of tours across communities that represent the future of residential development in northeast Oklahoma.

For industry professionals, the Parade is more than a consumer event — it's a front-row look at where the market is headed: the floor plans buyers are choosing, the materials and technology setting new standards, and the neighborhoods attracting the most demand.
