Ethos is a proud Tulsa Area United Way supporter and we enjoy opportunities to volunteer during United Way Day of Caring every September. This year, we are designing an update to the Teens and Kids areas within the Domestic Violence Intervention Services safe housing programs, one of our long-term partners.

We would appreciate your additional support. If you have gently used teen or kids books/games or monetary donations to provide additional items for this update, we are forever grateful to our community and the difference we can make together.

AI is everywhere, and every day, more people are turning to AI tools for emotional support and therapy-style conversations. DVIS is collaborating with Tulsa Community College, TCC Foundation, and EndTAB, a leader in digital abuse prevention, for a FREE virtual training on Mental Health in the Age of AI, September 2 at 2:00pm. Participants will explore benefits, risks, and how to make human-centered, informed choices about AI in mental health care. We had a wonderful Back-to-School Bash last week and our youngest clients are all ready to go! Thank you to everyone who helped make it possible, including Discovery Lab for creative activities, Tulsa Fire Department and EMSA OKLAHOMA for fun vehicle tours, The Ice Cream Truck - Tulsa for treats, Victory Church for backpacks, and Paul Mitchell the School for haircuts!

We have some for our wonderful partners at Tulsa Educare’s Early Learning Works! They provide free books and reading resources for our shelter, Apache office, and the Family Safety Center, and also lead trainings for CPR and First Aid certifications. Thank you Early Learning Works!
