Lithium-ion batteries power many everyday devices, from phones and laptops to e-bikes, scooters, and even cars. While useful, they can overheat, catch fire, or even explode if not handled properly.

âś… Only use the charger that came with your device
✅ Don’t charge on beds, couches, or under pillows
âś… Stop using batteries that are damaged, leaking, or too hot
✅ Never throw them in the trash — recycle safely at https://www.metrecycle.com

Hey Tulsa! The Emergency Infant Services mobile unit, Baby Blue, will be at our Kendall-Whittier location until 4pm today, located right on the corner of 3rd & Lewis. EIS provides assistance to families with children under age 5, providing diapers, wipes, formula, and more. Come see them!

The Muscogee (Creek) Nation Accessing Choices in Education (A.C.E.) Program is inviting students in grades 5th through 8th to participate in the newest Indigenous Readers session for middle school students. This session will feature the books, "Finding My Dance" and "In the Footsteps of Crazy Horse."

Student Eligibility:

• American Indian/Alaska Native students attending school in The Muscogee Nation Reservation boundaries
• Enrolled in 5th - 8th grades

Session Details:

1. Parents/students may register online at www.MCNACEservices.com beginning April 1, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. CST.
2. Students/parents will receive a video from [email protected].
3. Students will receive a book bundle and items to promote literacy.
4. Students view the video and follow along with the guest reader.
