Tukwila is hosting our first annual Costume Swap! It’s a fantastic way to refresh your Halloween wardrobe by swapping gently used costumes and accessories for something new-to-you. Join us at Tukwila Community Center on 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟔. 𝟗 𝐚.𝐦. - 𝐧𝐨𝐨𝐧 for the swap event where you can pick up costumes and accessories for all ages.

We’re accepting donations of clean, gently worn costumes, hats, masks, and accessories of all sizes—from infants to adults— and all sizes of hangers at the Tukwila Community Center and Tukwila City Hall from 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟖 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝟐𝟓.

This event is open to everyone and is not a strict exchange—you don’t have to donate to take a costume, but donations are encouraged to keep the swap well stocked.

North Tukwila Transit Meeting on September 30 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M at the Museum of Flight. Update on the Boeing Access Road Light Rail Station and exploring transit options in north Tukwila.

The City of Tukwila, Sound Transit, and Tukwila Mayor Thomas McLeod will be hosting community meeting on Wednesday, September 30 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. at the Museum of Flight.

The meeting will include an update on Boeing Access Light Rail Station planning, updates on North Tukwila Transit planning, and opportunities for community input on future transit connections in the area.

Traffic Alert Tukwila!

King County will be conducting bridge inspections on the South Park bridge on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. Crews will reduce 14th Ave S/16th Ave S from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Flaggers will direct traffic through the work zone. Please expect delays and if possible avoid the area.
