The NWMMSDC was honored to attend last night's event presented by U.S. Bank, a timely and important conversation on access to capital, economic readiness, and growth opportunities for Seattle’s small and medium businesses ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Thank you to Tiffany Fritchman and the U.S. Bank team for the invitation and for convening such a meaningful event. The panel delivered phenomenal insights, offering practical strategies and forward-looking perspectives on funding, economic positioning, and how businesses can prepare to scale in today’s shifting environment.

We were proud to be there, connecting with minority business owners and sharing how NWMMSDC certification can open doors to new contracting opportunities and strategic partnerships.

Events like this strengthen our shared commitment to ensuring minority-owned businesses are equipped, supported, and positioned to thrive.

Huda Al-Musawi, VP and Board Member, Shahzad Qadri, Managing Partner at Wong Flemmings, traveled to Miami to join hundreds of leaders at the NMSDC Annual Conference & Exchange. This gathering was more than an event; it's part of the ongoing work of navigating a new economy, addressing challenges head-on, and ensuring MBEs have a strong and equitable path forward.

From policy discussions to strategic insights, Huda and Shahzad represented NWMMSDC with clarity and purpose. Their engagement reinforces our commitment to showing up for our MBEs, our Corporate Members, and the broader network shaping the future of supplier development.

Grateful for their leadership and the momentum built in Miami. 🚀
