Originally from a small town in New Mexico, Mrs. Delilah has called Tucson home for most of her life. Her own kiddos attended PRE, where she says her family has always felt welcomed. Now she’s excited to be part of the PRE staff, learning new things and getting to know her PRE family!

📢 Calling all Arizona K-12 student artists 🎨💻

The Arizona Department of Homeland Security is announcing the launch of their “Kids Safe Online” Cybersecurity Awareness Calendar Contest! This is a fun opportunity for to showcase their creativity while learning about online safety.

We’re looking for artwork that promotes a safer digital community on the internet and social media. What does that look like to you?

Contest Rules:
Must be original hand drawn or electronic submissions
Size: 8.5 x 11 or 8.5 x 14
Landscape format ONLY
Any text should be large and dark.

🗓️ Contest Dates:

September 18, 2026: Contest entry deadline.
October 7, 2026: Winners announced.
October 8 – November 1, 2026: Winning entries on display at the Arizona State Fair!

📚✨ **THE BOOK FAIR IS COMING TO PRE!** ✨📚

One of our favorite weeks is almost here! 💜💛

The **Scholastic Book Fair** will be at Picture Rocks Elementary **September 8–11 in the library**, and we can’t wait to help our Hawks find books they’re excited to read! 📖🦅

🌟 **SPECIAL FAMILY SHOPPING NIGHT:**
We’ll be staying open until **7:00 PM on Thursday, September 10**, so families can stop by and shop the Book Fair together!

💳 **Don’t forget about eWallet!**
Setting up an eWallet gives your child a safe, cash-free way to shop at school—and you can share it with grandparents, relatives, and friends who might want to add a little Book Fair money too. 💜

Our goal is simple: **we want every Hawk to have the opportunity to find books they’ll LOVE.** 📚❤️

🎶 Our Hawks Are Making Some Noise! 🎺🎶

Last weekend, some of our PRE Hawks joined other beginning musicians from across the district at Marana High School for a special Band & Orchestra event! 💜💛

We love seeing our students stepping outside their comfort zones, trying something new, and beginning their journey as musicians. From clarinets and flutes to trumpets, these Hawks are just getting started! 🎵

A big shoutout to all of our PRE students who participated, and to the teachers and staff helping our newest musicians discover a love of music. 🦅🎶



I wouldn't put the students' names in the public caption, even with media releases. The pictures can celebrate them without identifying individual elementary students by full name publicly. And if you have several good photos, this is another one I'd do as an Instagram/Facebook carousel, with the strongest group/action photo first rather than making a collage.
