Southern Arizona Law Enforcement Explorer Competition Southern Arizona Law Enforcement Explorer Competition is an annual competition for Law Enforcement Explorer Posts and is open to programs nationwide.

Southern Arizona Law Enforcement Explorer Competition (S.A.L.E.E.C) is an annual event, held in October, which is designed to be very demanding on the physical and mental capabilities of each Explorer. Events are designed to test the strengths and limitations of a person's intelligence, personality, demeanor, professionalism, and physical abilities, as well as dedication and conviction to the Expl

orer Program. Explorers are given the opportunity to test their skills in real life situations including: Felony Stops, Vehicle Stops, Building Searches, Domestic Disturbance, Officer Down, and Crisis Negotiations, just to name a few. The competition will test the Explorers’ physical abilities and teamwork through obstacle courses, physical agility, and a tug of war. Mental abilities are tested through a variety of events including: Report Writing and Courtroom Testimony scenarios, and a Law Enforcement Entry Level Written Exam.

The anticipation is coming to a close!!! The 2015 Southern Arizona Law Enforcement Explorer Competition sponsored by the Arizona Rangers is taking place this weekend! We are excited for the many events and activities that we have planned for all participating Explorer posts. 17 teams are competing for the top prize.... the SALEEC Cup Trophy and a year's worth of bragging rights!!

We are glad to have partnered with all of our proud supporters to make this event greater than any before.
