🏠September is su***de awareness and prevention month. Housing and Community Development acknowledges that adequate access to basic necessities like housing and healthcare play a vital role in preventing su***de and suicidal ideation. This month and every month, we work to make affordable and accessible housing available to every Tucsonan.

📞If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, call the local Crisis Line at (520) 622-6000.

🎗️September 10 is World Su***de Prevention Day, as declared in 2003 by International Association for Su***de Prevention. Ribbons in orange and yellow stand out and honor candlelit and "out of the darkness" themed walks that many su***de prevention agencies hold annually.
