This position is responsible for overseeing the Planning Division, including cross-division and department collaboration, managing major HCD planning and grant projects, overseeing community engagement, and ensuring Continuum of Care compliance. Housing and Community Development acknowledges that adequate access to basic necessities like housing and healthcare play a vital role in preventing su***de and suicidal ideation. This month and every month, we work to make affordable and accessible housing available to every Tucsonan.

🎗️September 10 is World Su***de Prevention Day, as declared in 2003 by International Association for Su***de Prevention. Ribbons in orange and yellow stand out and honor candlelit and "out of the darkness" themed walks that many su***de prevention agencies hold annually.
