In Montessori, learning doesn't stay on the page, it comes to life through meaningful, hands-on experiences. Students in Kinder -3rd Grade discovered how the math skills they practice every day have real-world applications through quilting!
Working alongside our wonderful volunteer, Ms. Nancy, students measured carefully, used fractions, and applied problem-solving skills to sew two beautiful quilts. This project perfectly demonstrated how math and Practical Life work together to build confidence, precision, and purpose.
A special thank you to Educational Enrichment Foundation for funding this enriching experience and making this project possible.
We're also proud to share that the two completed quilts were donated to Project Linus, providing comfort and warmth to children in need. What a meaningful way for our students to use their learning to make a difference in the lives of others! ❤️🧵🪡

From cheers in sports to proud promotion smiles, we wrapped up the school year with unforgettable moments! 🏀🎉
Today’s last day of school assembly celebrated teamwork, school spirit, and an incredible student honored by the Tucson Fire Department for bravery and courage. ❤️🚒
We’re also still celebrating last week’s Kindergarten and 8th grade promotions, big milestones for our youngest learners and future graduates alike.

Our middle school students enjoyed a day of exploration and discovery at the zoo 🐘🌿 Through observation and guided learning, they deepened their understanding of animal habitats, adaptation, and interconnected ecosystems. From classroom discoveries to athletic victories, performances, projects, friendships, and growth, our students filled this year with curiosity, creativity, and community. Thank you to our teachers, staff, and families for helping make Drachman such a special place to learn and grow.

We hope our Dragons have a summer filled with adventure, rest, reading, sunshine, and plenty of play. ☀️📚
