Mark your calendar! Bikes and pedestrians will soon have one day a week without cars. New hours for Safe Mondays on Sentinel Peak (no vehicle access) are expected to start on Veterans Day, Nov. 11.

During the rest of the week, vehicles will be allowed in the park between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.

From the top of Sentinel Peak you can see Mission Gardens below - where the friends of Tucson’s birthplace have created a living agricultural museum of Sonoran Desert-adapted heritage fruit-trees, traditional local heirloom crops and edible native plants. Volunteers are always needed!
