Congratulations to Dr. Rachna Shroff '96, associate director of clinical research at the University of Arizona Cancer Center, who was just named the inaugural holder of the John F. and Valli S. Duval Endowed Professorship for Gastrointestinal Oncology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson!

A generous $1 million gift from John and Valli Duval will provide enduring support for cancer research and clinical innovation at the University of Arizona Comprehensive Cancer Center.

We’re excited to announce the 3rd Annual Alumni Photography Show! The theme, “Adulting So Hard,” celebrates the humor, honesty, and humanity of life after graduation, no matter where you are in that journey.
This year’s submissions will be adjudicated by current Gregory School photography students, turning the tables and bringing fresh eyes to alumni work. Selected images will be exhibited in Zeskind Hall and proudly displayed throughout the 2026–2027 school year.

Julia Cavanaugh ‘08 was the guest speaker in Elizabeth Young's "Writer's Notebook: Worldsmithing," Exploration, where creative writers have jointly and independently practiced methods involved in world building — the geography, culture, magical limitations, myths and ultimately conflicts that occur in entirely made-up worlds. Julia is the creator and co-writer of “Blight,” a feature film currently in development with an award-winning producing team, including Molly Conners, producer of the Academy Award–winning film Birdman. The film stars Sawyer Spielberg and Raye Levine Spielberg. A former Los Angeles actor, Julia now focuses on writing stories that blend history, myth, and the resilience of the human spirit. Thank you, Julia for bringing your expertise and talent to today's students!
