Meet Board Member Cheryll Parker — proud Mississippi native, devoted Tucker mom, community volunteer, and passionate supporter of Tucker schools.
I’m the proud mom of my only son, Jadon Macon, a recent Tucker High School Class of 2026 graduate. I’m also a proud dog mom, and my family keeps me smiling both on and off the sidelines.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving and volunteering throughout the Tucker school community, including Midvale Elementary School, Tucker Middle School, Tucker Middle School Band Boosters, Tucker High School Band, the Tucker Tigers Band Parent Association, and We Are Tucker. Whether helping behind the scenes, organizing events, supporting fundraisers, or cheering from the stands, I’ve always believed that strong schools are built by families and communities working together.
I’m incredibly thankful for this amazing community and honored to continue serving and supporting Tucker High School for years to come. I’m excited to help strengthen opportunities for students and continue giving back to the school and community that have meant so much to my family.

The Emory Urban Health Initiative would like to share an exciting opportunity for Black male high school seniors interested in pursuing medicine or dentistry.

Tennessee State University and Meharry Medical College are offering an accelerated 7-year MD/DDS program with potential full-ride scholarship support. Currently, there are zero Black male applicants, making outreach especially important.

Please share this opportunity broadly with any qualified students in your networks.

Who: Black male high school seniors
Requirements: 3.5 GPA and 28 ACT
Goal: MD or DDS in 7 years
Benefit: Potential full-ride scholarship

Meet Board Member Jennifer Lenac- proud Tucker Mom, community cheerleader, and lifelong (well… since 2005!) maroon and gold fan.

I’m heading into my third year on the Tucker High School Foundation Board and honored to serve as Secretary for the 2026–2027 school year—my first year as an officer. Supporting Tucker schools and this incredible community is truly one of my favorite “jobs.”

At home, I'm married to my husband, Joseph (THS Class of ’93), and we just celebrated 20 years together. We’re proud parents of Noah (THS Class of 2026 graduate) and Eli (THS Class of 2028). Add in our very large, very energetic German Shepherd “puppy,” Kaiser, three (or four) chaotic cats—Marley, Maisel, and Murr—and our honorary outdoor feral resident, Sammy.

By day, I work as a Quoting–Procurement Specialist at Abacus Technology, an international IT firm specializing in the Healthcare and Finance vertical markets. I'm celebrating 25 years here- through a few name changes along the way! (Clear Choice Telephones and Medicus IT). I’ve worn just about every hat you can imagine over my years there—operations, office management, project management, billing, service, sales, consulting—you name it, I've probably done it!

If you’ve been around Tucker for a while, there’s a good chance we’ve crossed paths. I’ve spent years volunteering and serving with organizations including Embry Hills UMC PreK & Kindergarten, Midvale Elementary, Briarlake Youth Sports, Tucker Rec Youth Sports, Tucker Middle School, Druid Hills Youth Sports, Tucker High School Foundation, THS Dugout Club, Dunwoody Senior League Baseball, and Holy Cross Catholic Church. Supporting our kids, schools, sports, and community has been a huge part of my life since having children.

Year round in the "spare time" you can usually find me at just about any Tucker event—volunteering, cheering, promoting, or all three at once—especially when it comes to the THS Foundation and Tucker baseball. In the Spring you can find me at the THS baseball field, most likely in the concession stand! If you see me out and about, please come say hello. If my boys will tell you anything, it is that I love to talk to my people!

I may not have been born here, but Tucker is absolutely home. I love this city, this community, and our schools with all my heart. Once a Tiger, always a Tiger. 🐅
