Celebrating Local Students

We gathered for a light supper on May 26 at the Eastchester Community Room at Lake Isle to congratulate and present two local high school seniors with a scholarship.

Each year students from Eastchester High School and Tuckahoe High School submit an application to compete for two $1,000 scholarships, describing their accomplishments in academics, extra curricular activities and community service. A winner from each school is selected on their merits.

The scholarship funding was provided by the Chamber and donations from OceanFirst Bank and BeaconBank, both members of ETCOC.
