esidents and neighbors. We are a high volume, 911 only service providing basic and advanced life support. Our Agency delivers evidence based, patient focused care using progressive and innovative treatment protocols to ensure best practice outcomes. We provide special operations & UTV training and support, and are actively involved in community outreach and community health programs. The EMS Chief, working under the direction of the EMS Commission, ensures quality patient care and efficient delivery of pre-hospital emergency medical care to all residents and visitors of the Town of Trumbull. The EMS Chief oversees the daily operation of emergency calls, direction of all EMS staff, delivery of community health and safety programs and our clinical education division. Trumbull EMS consists of both volunteer and career staff that work seamlessly together to provide critical, lifesaving prehospital care to the Town of Trumbull. The department consists of approximately 60 volunteer and 50 career employees. Our team works on site 24/7, 365 days a year, to serve our residents and visitors to our town. Currently, Trumbull EMS responds to over 4500 emergency 9-1-1 calls each year.
