We will have a general field day on Saturday, April 18th from 930 am until 1230 pm at the MCC Apiary. Please comment below if you will attend.

What do we do on field day? We look in hives and learn from what we see. This is a good opportunity to work with a hive before you start your own apiary. Experienced beekeepers will be there to show you what to expect and explain what you are seeing in the hive.

If you have a bee suit, please bring it with you!

On April 16th, our very own state bee inspector, Shirley Harris is going to talk to us about the yellow legged hornet. Join us at 6 pm for potluck, 630 pm for group business and 7 pm for her presentation.

We meet at Montgomery Community College in the multi-purpose room of Building 200 at Montgomery Community College, 1011 Page Street, Troy NC. Follow the signs on site.
