Summer is here—are you prepared Rensselaer County?

Whether you're heading to the beach, camping in the mountains, traveling with family, or simply enjoying outdoor activities, a well-stocked Go Bag can make all the difference during an unexpected emergency.

Your summer Go Bag should include:
✅ Water and snacks
✅ First aid supplies
✅ Flashlight and extra batteries
✅ Phone charger/power bank
✅ Sunscreen and insect repellent
✅ Important documents
✅ Prescription medications
✅ Weather-appropriate clothing

Summer storms, power outages, extreme heat, and travel disruptions can happen without warning. Having a Go Bag ready means you can respond quickly and keep yourself and your family safe.

Don't wait for an emergency to start preparing. Take a few minutes this week to build or update your Go Bag and enjoy the summer with greater peace of mind.
