Update

Due to an ongoing staffing shortage, and for an unknown duration, emergency and non-emergency dispatch services for the Troy Area District were transferred to Sheriff's Dispatch on 7/17/23

To ensure continuity of public safety answering point service, all 9-1-1 lines and administrative lines are currently routed to Sheriff's Dispatch

The Troy Dispatch board, Troy city council, Troy mayor, and Lincoln County commissioners will be engaging in discussion in the near future to determine the path forward.

ATTENTION!!!!!! IN CUSTODY
SANDERS COUNTY DEPUTIES and SHERIFF (Sheriff Shawn Fielders, Plains Police Officer Geenen, Deputy Eric Pfleger and Deputy Lanny Hensley, Detective Ethan Harvey) HAVE ARRESTED AND TAKEN CHADWICK SHANE MOBLEY IN TO CUSTODY AS OF 1808 hours on 07/10/2023. HE WAS LOCATED OUT RIVER ROAD WEST IN PLAINS. The post took a little time for confirmation purposes.

Special shout to the citizens that saw and made the call and helped watch. Thank you to Plains Police Officer Geenen.

Shout to the dispatchers for all your hard work taking tip calls, not to mention the day he escaped and the day he was back in custody. You are our life line. Great work!

Great work by all, together we made a difference! Not just for our community, but for the victims of the crimes he is suspected of, and being charged with.

IN CUSTODY SEE MOST RECENT POST ON OUR PAGE

UPDATED INFORMATION!!!! The transport was being conducted by a contracted transport company from Lincoln County to another destination not by any Lincoln County Sheriff Office Staff! The transport was set up by the U.S. Marshals.

Today, July 9, 2023 at approximately 0958 hours, a neighboring county (corrected above) was transporting a homicide suspect through Sanders County. The homicide suspect escaped at the Plains Town Pump.

Please lock up all vehicles and residences and be on the lookout for the male pictured below. Consider this male dangerous. DO NOT APPROACH! Call 911 if you see this male.

Description of male when last seen upon escape:
6' 150lbs. 42 y/o, light colored t shirt, camo pants, ball cap, boots, had a black coat

At this time, there is an incident taking place in the Plains area.

Please be advised that Chadwick Shane Mobley has escaped the custody of his transport at Plains Town Pump and is still on the run. Mobley was able to remove his handcuffs as well as ankle shackles and run.
Deputies and officers have been actively searching for Mobley since his escape but have been unsuccessful in locating Mobley so far.

Please lock your homes, garages and vehicles and call 911 if you see anything suspicious.
Mobley was wearing camo pants, light colored shirt and black boots when he ran. Mobley is approximately 6'0 tall and weighs 150lbs.
Mobley is dangerous and should not be approached, if you see him call 911.

***VEHICLES HAVE BEEN RECOVERED***

**STOLEN VEHICLE ALERT**

2 Dirt bikes:

1)1987 Red, white and blue Honda 600 with Montana plates 56-V68

2)2000 white and blue Yamaha YZ250. Has a broken front fender. Also one side has the number "69" and the other side has double zeros "00". This motorcycle has no plates.
