Hillcrest Elementary is incredibly blessed to have two amazing educators like Shantelle Gilliam and Darla Roberts on our team! 🍎✨

These two ladies pour so much love, energy, patience, and dedication into our school each and every day. They make a difference not only through the lessons they teach, but through the relationships they build, the confidence they encourage, and the way they make our students feel valued, supported, and capable.

Shantelle and Darla, thank you for being the kind of educators who make Hillcrest a better place simply by being here. We are so grateful for the impact you make on our students, our families, and our Hillcrest family! 🐾❤️

🐾 PAWSOME THINGS SEEN AT HILLCREST! 🐾
One of the best things we have seen this week at Hillcrest is students taking care of each other! 💙
Our students are learning that being a good friend means noticing others, including everyone, offering help, showing kindness, and making sure those around us feel seen, heard, valued, and cared for.
These students were caught living out #7 of our 25 Essential Expectations: BE A GOOD FRIEND! 🐾👏
We are so proud of the way our Cougars are looking out for one another and working together to make Hillcrest a place where EVERYONE belongs! 💙
Keep it up, Cougars! Your kindness is contagious! 🐾

We have Parent-Teacher Conference tomorrow from 12:45-6:30. We will start dismissal at 12:15. Parents will not be allowed in the building until 12:45. Please park in the back and wait in your vehicle until 12:45. Please do not pull up front from 12:15-12:45 due to buses loading. You are welcome to park up front after 12:45.

🐾 TODAY'S I SPY 25 WINNERS!🐾

We’re giving a BIG PAWSOME shoutout to three of our amazing students who were spotted showing off some of the incredible 25 Essential Expectations behaviors! 🌟👏

These students are making great choices, showing kindness, using their manners, being responsible, and helping make Hillcrest a pawsome place to learn! 🐾💙

Congratulations to 2nd grader, Claire Collins Wilds, for trading seats in computer class to sit with someone new. Thank you for being a great friend to others.

Congratulations to 3rd grader, Knox Garner, for cleaning up the playground during recess to help make our school look nice. Great job taking pride in our school.

Help us celebrate Mrs. Kayla Anderson, our wonderful 1st grade teacher, and Mr. Ped Foster, our talented music teacher! ❤️💙

Mrs. Kayla makes a lasting impact on her students by creating a classroom where young learners feel loved, encouraged, and excited to learn. She helps her students build confidence, develop a love for learning, and grow both academically and personally.

Mr. Foster brings energy, creativity, and a love of music to our students. Through music, he gives students opportunities to express themselves, discover their talents, and build confidence while creating memories they will carry with them for years to come. 🎶

We are so grateful for the positive influence Mrs. Kayla and Mr. Foster have on our students and for the countless ways they make Hillcrest a better place every day! ❤️🐾
