Happening today January 10th 8am-12 pm

Bring or Receive your car kit, design it, and get started on it...but don't forget, you need the rules of the road. This will be an open workshop. Stop by any time, stay as long as you want to work on your car. We will have supplies to help get your car going.

Due to Space constraints, we need to move the location to Chad's House. Plenty of tables, workspace and tools. I will have the heater on, but still encourage scouts to dress warm.

🌞 What a great day to be a Cub Scout!
The weather was perfect for adventure!

Our AOLs spent the day exploring the outdoors, while the Webelos hit the trail at Silver Lake, their goal was to hike at least a mile, but they more than doubled that distance (with smiles the entire way!).

The Wolves had a blast diving into some fun science experiments, because who doesn’t love a little Coke and Mentos action?

Meanwhile, the rest of the Pack learned about accessibility and discovered how some of our friends use ramps and other tools to get around.

It was an incredible day of learning, teamwork, and fun.

⛺ 10 Days Until Cub Scout Camp! 🐾
Theme: Oregon Trail 🚂🌾
We’re almost ready to hit the trail, and we don’t want anyone to miss out because of gear or cost!

💬 Need equipment? No problem! Shoot Maribeth a text at 703-350-2802 with what you need, and she’ll make sure to grab it from the shed. We have plenty of extras—tents, cots, sleeping bags, and more.

🍽 Meals are covered! We feed you the entire weekend, so no need to pack food.
(However extra snacks are always welcome!)

💲 Cost: $10 per person, but no family pays more than $40 total.
If cost is the only thing holding you back, please message Maribeth—we have sponsorships available to make sure everyone can come.

Wild Nights at the St. Louis Zoo! 🐾
Our Pack joined the Troop for an unforgettable overnight adventure at the St. Louis Zoo! From blindfolded sensory games with frog sounds to late-night hikes with nocturnal animals, the experience was packed with fun and learning.

The kids made light switch covers to remind them how outdoor lights affect wildlife—and enjoyed pizza, soda, and The Lion King before bedtime. Morning brought coffee for the adults, glow-in-the-dark cups for the kids, and a hike full of animal activity!

Highlights included tigers, snow leopards, penguins, and an epic polar bear feeding—complete with a splash from two 700-pound bears diving into the water! 🐻‍❄️💦

We can’t wait to plan more Zoo adventures in the future! 🦁🌙

Camp Vandeventure – Waterloo, IL

🎯 Theme: Oregon Trail!

Don’t forget to join us for our annual Family Camp Out at the beautiful Camp Vandeventure! This is a camp for the whole family — younger kids, older siblings, grandparents — everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy a weekend of fun and adventure.

We’ll have light programming throughout the day with support from both the older Girl and Boy Troops, who will help guide the Cubs through activities. While we’ll have plenty of things to do, this is a more relaxed-style camp — perfect for slowing down and spending quality time together outdoors.

If you’ve never been to Camp Van before, you’re in for a treat — it’s well known for its awesome creek, ideal for splashing, playing, and cooling off during a warm August day.

So pack your gear, gather your wagon train (er, family), and get ready to hit the Oregon Trail with us!

If you don't have gear, don't worry! Just let us know, between both troops, and leaders I promise you we have everything you could possibly need! So please don't let that stop you.
