πŸŽ‰ We finished 4th quarter STRONG! πŸŽ‰

Today we celebrated our students who earned 90%+ attendance during 4th quarter with a β€œParty in the Parking Lot” attendance celebration! πŸš—β˜€οΈπŸŽΆ

Students spent time playing games, dancing, and simply enjoying each other’s company while celebrating their hard work and commitment to showing up every day. They also signed our Attendance Board, representing the many students who maintained strong attendance habits through all four quarters. Their names covering the board is a powerful reminder that attendance matters and consistency pays off!

We are incredibly proud of our students for finishing the year on such a positive note and building habits that support success both in and out of the classroom. πŸ’™πŸ¦πŸ’›

🚌⭐ Main Street Proud! ⭐🚌
We are excited to recognize another amazing Main Street Elementary student who was identified as a Distinguished Rider by her bus driver!

Her driver shared that this lion found money on her bus seat and immediately turned it in instead of keeping it. Her honesty, integrity, and strong character are truly admirable and greatly appreciated.

We are so proud of the example she sets for others each day. Keep up the great work, Main Street star! πŸ’™πŸ¦πŸ’› πŸ‘

Our kindergarteners are officially PUBLISHED AUTHORS! πŸ“šβœοΈ

Mrs. Lewis’s Class had the exciting opportunity to share their very own published writing with our principals during a special author reading. Watching these young writers proudly read their stories aloud was such a meaningful moment!

From brainstorming ideas to illustrating pages and reading with confidence, these students worked incredibly hard and truly shined. We are so proud of their creativity, growth, and courage as writers. πŸ’›

A huge thank you to our principals for taking the time to celebrate and encourage our little authors. This is a memory our students will never forget! 🌟

The excitement all led up to the 4th Annual MSE Potato Olympics! πŸ₯”πŸ… Students designed and competed with their very own β€œtatorletes” as they participated in a variety of events and recorded their results in Keynote presentations.

From creativity and teamwork to problem-solving and school spirit, our students had an absolute blast celebrating all they learned in such a fun and engaging way! πŸ‘πŸ’™

Our final Principal for the Day of the year was a mature and thoughtful fourth grade Lion who took the responsibility seriously from the moment the day began. 🦁✨

Selected for maintaining 95% or higher attendance and consistently demonstrating the MSE Way, he approached the role with confidence, leadership, and professionalism. From visiting classrooms and greeting students to recognizing positive behavior throughout the building, he handled each responsibility with care.

He kept a close eye on expectations, made thoughtful observations, and represented MSE with pride. His calm and serious approach showed that great leadership comes in many different forms.

As we wrap up a successful year of our Principal for the Day program, we are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate students who lead by example and show up all day, every day. Watching our Lions grow in confidence and character has been one of the highlights of the year.

We are so proud of all of our student leaders!

To celebrate our last attendance drawing of the school year, we selected 2 winners from each grade level! πŸŽŸοΈπŸŽ‰

Students with 95%+ attendance earned entries into the raffle, and our winners enjoyed getting to choose their lunch seats for the day. The smiles, excitement, and friendships made this such a fun way to wrap up the year! 😊

Way to go, Lions β€” thank you for making attendance a priority all year long! πŸ’™πŸ¦πŸ’›

πŸšŒπŸ’› Kindness in Action at MSE! πŸ’›πŸšŒ

We are excited to celebrate one of our amazing students who was recently recognized as a Distinguished Riderβ€”an honor that is not given often and reflects truly outstanding behavior.

Her bus driver shared that she has gone above and beyond by consistently helping an injured student during afternoon drop-offβ€”carrying their backpack and assisting with their bus card each day without being asked. This act of kindness shows incredible compassion, responsibility, and leadership at such a young age.

We are so proud of the example she is setting for others. Way to go, Main Street star! ⭐🦁⭐

We are so proud of this outstanding Main Street Elementary student who earned a Distinguished Rider certificate! The driver stated, "He is always polite and kind to substitute bus drivers. He is the last one off the bus and offers to help close windows and takes the time to tell the driver goodbye." His positive attitude, respect for others, and commitment to bus expectations help keeps everyone safe each day. Thank you for being a leader and role model on the busβ€”way to make Main Street proud! βπŸ‘
