This week our staff was given another staff member’s name to learn more about throughout the week. On Friday they were told it’s “Croc-Tober” and needed to wear their crocs to school. They had to take what they learned about the staff member and then pick a Croc charm that represents that person. They also got to choose a charm for themselves too. In addition to that they were treated to some “crockpot” treats and Croc trivia and jokes at lunch time! We love to see our staff smile and enjoy some surprises to brighten their days!!

Following Tiger Time, we had our ROAR assembly. Our students that had perfect attendance for first quarter got to do a “punch board” for some fun surprises. They ranged from “Bring a stuffie to school” to “Play a game with Mrs. Ross and friends.” Those students will get brag tags on Monday! We had some staff games of building a mummy and ROAR model games of keepie uppie. Our ROAR models were voted in by their class for showing what it looks like to show great character at school. Their families were invited to come in and surprise them too. We are so proud of all our students for being a great audience and celebrating the people around them!

Friday we started the day with Tiger Time. Our students got to make their own puzzle pieces that they put together with their groups to show that we can be different but come together too!

Our Boone Tigers united with the Lincoln Leopards for the parade. While it’s fun to be in the parade, it’s only fun because of who we get to see along the way! These faces were caught having fun, smiling, and grabbing a LOT of candy!! What a way to wrap up a fantastic week! After a week full of spirit days, a parade, a mascot race at halftime, and then a HUGE win for the Trojans our Trojan Pride is strong!

This weeks ROAR Referrals showed that our students clean up even when they did make the mess, help others when they need it, and try their best even when its hard!

Way to go Tigers!

Happy National Custodian Day!

Today, we want to give a massive shoutout and a heartfelt THANK YOU to Mrs. Linda!

From keeping our hallways sparkling clean, greeting our students and staff with the warmest smile every single morning, Mrs. Linda does so much more than keep our school running—she makes Boone feel like home.

Mrs. Linda, thank you for your hard work, your endless kindness, and everything you do behind the scenes to make our school a brighter place every day. We appreciate you today and every day!
