The Troy Police Department is proud to partner with the SAVES Project, and bring it to our community.

S.A.V.E.S. (Special Needs, Autism, Vulnerable Persons, Elderly, Safety) helps first responders better serve individuals who may have communication challenges, cognitive impairments, autism, dementia, or other special needs.

The program includes the S.A.V.E.S. ID system and Blue Envelope Program, providing critical information that can help first responders communicate more effectively and respond appropriately during emergencies and traffic stops.

Our goal is simple: enhance safety, improve communication, and provide peace of mind for individuals and families throughout Troy.

Traffic update regarding Long Lake Road at Rochester Road.

🚧 Traffic Update 🚧

Westbound Long Lake Road remains open to traffic up to the Long Lake Road and Rochester Road intersection closure.

Eastbound Long Lake Road, along with the Long Lake Road and Rochester Road intersection, will remain closed for approximately three weeks while paving work is completed.

This traffic configuration was selected to allow the intersection to be paved in a single construction season.

Beginning Wednesday, June 17, eastbound and westbound Long Lake at Rochester Road will be closed for three weeks (weather permitting) for paving of the intersection.

Beginning Wednesday, June 17, the intersection of eastbound and westbound Long Lake at Rochester Road, will be closed for three weeks (weather permitting) for paving. Please note that westbound Long Lake will remain open to traffic until the Rochester Road intersection. Eastbound Long Lake Road will be closed to traffic for an estimated three weeks.

UPDATE: The missing has been found and is safe. Thank you to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, Avondale School District, Avondale Middle School - School Resource Officer for all of your help and efforts! And thank you to the community for keeping a watchful eye and calling in with information.
