Miami Valley Veterans Museum Founded in 2009 the Miami Valley Veterans Museum's Mission is to Honor, Preserve and Perpetuate the legacy of veterans.

Our purpose is first and foremost, to honor and preserve the memory of local veterans through a museum dedicated to their contributions, to create and protect the freedoms that we as Americans enjoy. To serve as an educational tool that teaches youth about our military involvement throughout the world, and finally to provide a unique tourist hot spot in Miami County.

Larry Laub made his story come alive today at the Miami Valley Veterans Museum.... His story will be included in the Library of Congress Veterans History Program in Washington DC. If you are a Veteran and would like to have your story remembered for future generations, please call the Miami Valley Veterans Museum and ask for Penny Adams to schedule your story. Call 937-332-8852 during business hours on Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 10 am to 2 pm to schedule your story. Remember... if you served, you have a story to tell.

Stephen Larck a Whatnot streamer for Kingston's Koins presents a check for more than $3,000 to the Miami Valley Veterans Museum. Accepting the check on behalf of the museum's board is Ted Jones, the museum's president. Stephen Larck hosted an online coin auction on Whatnot on behalf of the museum. The money will be used to help offset the museum's operational costs and to promote our continuing outreach programs. If you would like to volunteer at the Miami Valley Veterans Museum, please call the museum at 937-332-8852 during our business hours.

📖 Share Your Military Story – Classes Starting Soon! 🇺🇸
Have you ever wanted to put your military experiences into words? Do you have photos, awards, letters, or memorabilia tucked away in a box or old duffel bag? Now’s the time to gather them and begin writing your story.
The Miami Valley Veterans Museum is offering writing classes to help veterans preserve their memories:
• Dates: August 1, 2026 & October 3, 2026
• Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
• Location: 2245 South County Road 25-A, Troy
Instructor: Dr. Vivian Blevins, experienced collegiate and self-publishing writing coach, will guide you in capturing the moments that matter, no matter your past writing experience.

Thank you for your support of the Miami Valley Veterans Museum through your past attendance of our Dancing with the Stars Event last November. We have two musical fundraising events planned this year, and we hope you will support the Miami Valley Veterans Museum by securing tickets to these shows!!! Our next event is taking place in 3 weeks on Saturday, June 20th at the 2252 Troy Urbana Road, Troy, Ohio 45373. This Rock & Soul R***e show features fan favorite father & son duo: Don and Ryan Rose!!
Rock & Soul R***e: A night of musical entertainment benefiting the Miami Valley Veterans Museum!
Celebrate the music and magic of solid gold oldies as a father & son duo (Don & Ryan Rose) take you back in time on a musical journey including hits from popular artists of the 50's and 60's. Relive the magic of Motown, Frankie Valli, the Jackson 5, Tom Jones, The Blues Brothers, and more!
For all the Elvis fans... there will be a set featuring the King of Rock & Roll.

Ted Jones, President of the Miami Valley Veterans Museum, and museum Curator, John Bankowitz, accept an appreciation plaque from the Vietnam Veterans of America. Presenting the plaque for the VVA is American Legion Post 200 Commander Paul Mussolino. Miami Valley Veterans Museum was instrumental in helping the Vietnam Veterans of America raise more than $1,000 for their programs.
