Our team did an awesome job at the CDPHP Workforce Challenge!! 👟🎽

As the largest running event in the Capital District, this annual challenge serves as a major fundraiser for local non-profits and community programs, as well as a way to unite organizations from all over the Capital Region.

Community care takes many forms 💚

We want to shine a light on The Community Porch in Hoosick Falls, a community resource helping neighbors access essential items with dignity and ease.

Located at 24 1st Street, The Community Porch offers free access to food, household essentials, feminine care products, and more for anyone in need. No appointment, no questions asked, just community helping one another!

Today, our community came together to recognize 518 Day and give back to the region we're proud to call home 💚

As part of the day’s celebration, ReStyle Thrift Store hosted a pop-up shop bringing community members together in support of sustainable shopping and a great cause. A special thank you to our incredible volunteers from Hannaford, Callanan Industries, Inc., and Siena University, whose time and energy helped make the events today possible!

We're grateful to have spent the day alongside our community members making a positive impact!

Today we celebrate MaryJane Day in honor of Unity House co-founder MaryJane Smith 💚

MaryJane's compassion, vision, and commitment to helping others helped shape Unity House into what it is today!

To honor her legacy on what would have been her 98th birthday, our staff came together to plant flowers throughout our community spaces. A beautiful way to honor someone who helped plant the roots of Unity House 🌷

Last week, our students at A Child's Place at Unity House had the incredible opportunity to meet author Nykesa Hilts for a special reading of 'Lil Crowns, Big Confidence' 👑📚

Through this storytime and the creative activities that followed, children explored messages of confidence, self love, and embracing their individuality. Seeing their smiles as they read, learned and connected with the author made this event truly special 🤎

Thank you Nykesa for sharing such an empowering message with our little learners!
