This crawl space was a little tight, but we got it done. The customer now has power out to his detached garage, and of course the only route for the electrical supply was through the spacious crawl space.

This is always a fun project! First you do a lot of measuring, and then the stressful aspects begin. Marking the new carpet with a marker, cutting through the carpet with a razor knife, and don't forget cutting through the sub floor. After all that fun the new floor box goes in, the new tamper resistant outlet, the floor plug cover, and walah, a new floor plug location is installed. Why you ask, what for? Well just watch the video.

You can always tell when a homeowner does their own electrical work. Notice the three gang plate that was custom made. This should be one plate, not three smashed together to make one.

We were working in Royal Oak today wiring up a garage for one our repeat customers, when we heard a strange noise outside. Yup another one bites the dust. There must have been at least five other houses that had already been demolished on the same street.

My dad and I were recently able to do some volunteer work for an organization called (Samaritan's Purse). We set up and installed a temporary service for them. They needed the temporary service to plug in there travel trailers, and other equipment. They help with disaster relief, and are here because of the recent flooding. If any of my friends need help, or know someone who may, please look them up.

So proud of my Faith T. Lowry. Faith spent the whole day with me at work. She never complained once and was a great helper. However Daddy did spoil her a little, popcorn, ice cream, MacDonald's, Snapple drink, Kars nut mix, still she was a trooper, and I am very proud of her.

A new customer called us today, and wanted to know if we would be willing to remove a chandelier and then reinstall it. I said that we would, and then asked why? She explained that she had her painter install a new foyer chandelier after he had painted the ceiling, and now it looked as if it may fall. Long story short the 60lb fixture was indeed literally only hanging by one drywall screw. We had to remove all of the crystals and then properly support the fixture, and then rehang all of the individual crystals. Two hours latter we were all done, and now the customer can walk under the light without worrying.

P.S. my three girls nick named this chandelier the "frozen chandelier" because it looks like it came straight out of the Disney movie frozen.
