A father’s love is a quiet strength that helps shape families and communities.❤️

Join us on Saturday, for our Community Meal, and we’re excited to celebrate Father’s Day weekend with all the amazing dads and father figures in our community.

We also get to honor Juneteenth as a reminder of freedom, resilience, hope, and the importance of coming together.

Join us for a meal, volunteer with us, and celebrate dads with us. We’ll also be sharing grocery bags with families as we continue to support our neighbors.

When school ends, kids lose access to free school meals. For many families, that can mean stretching already tight grocery budgets even further. The good news is that resources in our community, like Summer Meals, Summer EBT, SNAP, and WIC, can help ensure children continue to have access to nutritious food throughout the Summer ☀️

✏️ It feels like summer just started, but before we know it, the kids will be heading back to school! 🎒

Once again, Refuge Place is asking for your help to support children and families in our community with much-needed back-2-school supplies. Our goal is simple: to help every child start the school year with confidence, dignity, and the tools they need to succeed.

Every notebook, backpack, pencil, and folder makes a difference for a family preparing for the school year ahead.

Thank you for always showing up for our community and for helping us give our kids the best possible start to a new school year. We couldn’t do it without you. 💪

On Saturday, we had the opportunity to be a small channel of hope for our community, and we’re grateful for everyone who helps make it happen. Thanks to Unity House of Troy, Inc. food pantry for their donation of produce to support our families.

As the need grows, so does our need for volunteers. If you, your family, friends, school, church, or workplace would like to volunteer once a month or regularly, we’d love to connect with you. Many hands truly make the work lighter!

We’re also always grateful for meal sponsors, donations, and community support.

Looking for a meaningful way to spend a Saturday with your kids, friends, family, or co-workers? Look no further, we could use your helping hands!

We are looking for volunteers throughout the summer. Whether you can join us every other Saturday or just once a month, we’d love to have you on our team.

It doesn’t take much to make a difference. A few hours of your time can help serve meals, set up, clean up, or bring a little extra kindness to someone’s day.

As they say, many hands make light work, and a little help goes a long way.
