🏠Should you turn off your breaker box when the power goes out? In many cases, yes. During an extended outage, turn off breakers or unplug electronics and appliances. Leave one breaker on with a lamp or light so you know when power is restored. Before an emergency, label your breaker panel and know which circuits are essential.
