Well we did not win a spot on the board. But 7,530 Troy residents turned out to vote for me and a similar number for Jeff Schaeper. Thank you so much for turning out. And that is not just a number. Those are individuals now aware of books and material innappropriate for our children. More people will be demanding transparency ofthe bond spending and of the lobbying companies of the school board YES campaign. And more parents ready to stand up for parents ignored at board meetings who are just there standing up for their children's education.
We will keep pushing for improvement because our kids are worth it.

Tomorrow is the big day! Please vote for Jeff and I on November 8th. We know parents want their children to be able to strive for Academic Excellence. We know parents know what is best for their children and want to listen to parents and be able to solve problems. And we know Troy residents want the school to be fiscally responsible just as we all are in our finances.

Ive met so many great people in Troy during this adventure running for school board and heard so many supportive stories. It really warms my heart.
The message is simple yet so powerful being for Academic Excellence, Parental Rights and Fiscal Responsibility and I've learned so much how one or all those topics affect people's lives.

Troy Schools book reviews claim to have parental involvement. What are parents thoughts (yes/ no) on a book with this in the summary descripton?

We are seeing a negative trend in college readiness and need to stop blaming the pandemic. Let's challenge our schools and children to improve! The current school direction is to remove honors classes and reduce homework. Children learn by repetition and by writing problems out. It builds stronger nueral responses in their brains.

The class of 2022's average ACT composite score was 19.8 out of 36, marking the first time since 1991 that the average score was below 20.
