The Jarvis Township Board appointed Pam Mumper as the new Township Assessor at its regular meeting on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. Mumper replaces Jessica Dudley, who was recently appointed to the Chief County Assessment Officer position at Madison County. Mumper was previously the Chief Deputy Assessor for Collinsville Township but has lived in Jarvis Township for more than five years. Assessor Mumper holds the Intermediate level of classification of Certified Illinois Assessing Officer (CIAO) designation and has extensive assessment experience of both residential and commercial properties.
“Jarvis Township residents are blessed to have Pam Mumper assume the role of Township Assessor,” said Jarvis Township Supervisor Allen Adomite. “She brings 39 years of experience from her work in Collinsville Township. She continues the long line of steady property assessment leadership in Jarvis Township that has included Assessors Jessica Dudley, Tam Soland, and Connie Armes.”
Mumper’s appointment completes the 2021-2025 term of Dudley, and the Township Board will have to act again to appoint Mumper to the 2025-2029 term won by Dudley in the April 2025 consolidated municipal election that starts in January 2026. Mumper, who grew up in Maryville and graduated from Collinsville High School, lives in southern Jarvis Township with her husband Paul. She is a member of International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) and Illinois Property Assessment Institute (IPAI).
“I am looking forward to meeting Jarvis Township constituents, especially as our local senior citizens work to complete their annual homestead exemptions this January,” said Mumper. “As always, our office is open to help local residents and answer questions each and every weekday from 8:30am to 4:00pm. Please feel free to contact our office or just stop in for service.”
