🚨Caution🚨 There is a water main break on S Main St / Hwy 21 near Byers Road. Crews are currently working to repair the line. Please travel safely in this area as they work.

Some residents may have low to no water pressure for the next several hours. Service is expected to be restored later this evening.

Once water is restored, if any discoloration is noticed, please run your water for several minutes until this dissipates.

As we reflect on 25 years of remembrance, we honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the loved ones who continue to carry their memory, and the first responders whose courage and selfless service defined that tragic day. That legacy of service is especially close to home in Troutman through Council Member Eddie Nau, a retired NYPD officer who responded to Ground Zero as part of a rapid-response team. Greenway Lighting Improvements!💡

Over the next week or so, you’ll notice some changes along the Greenway as Duke Energy begins replacing the existing light poles. The old poles will be removed and replaced with newer, safer, and more substantial poles. These improvements will provide a brighter, more illuminated Greenway and help create a space that feels safer and more welcoming for everyone who enjoys it.
