đź’§ Great news, Troutdale!

The City’s 2025 Consumer Confidence Report is here, and Troutdale’s drinking water exceeded all federal and state water quality standards in 2025. ✅

Did you know? Our water comes from six deep groundwater wells, drilled between 485 and 697 feet, that tap into two aquifers right beneath our community.

Not sure who to call when something happens in your neighborhood? Knowing which number to call can save time and get you the right help faster. Here's a quick guide from the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office.

Call for an emergency - 911
An immediate threat to life or property or a medical emergency.
• A vehicle crashed and I think someone is hurt.
• I'm seeing or hearing an active fight or possible domestic violence incident.
• Someone I donʼt know is at the front door trying to get in.

Non-emergency line - (503) 823-3333
You need police, fire, or ambulance — but there is no immediate threat.
• Someone is illegally parked or abandoned their vehicle on the road/sidewalk.
• Thereʼs a loud party next door after 11 p.m. on a weeknight.

File a report online – mcso.mycasenumber.us
A crime already happened, thereĘĽs no suspect, and no one needs to be dispatched.
• My bike was stolen overnight.
• A package was taken from my porch.
• Thereʼs graffiti on the side of our building.
NOTE: This system does not replace 911 and should not be used for in-progress crimes or when the suspect is known.

Connect to resources - 311
There’s no threat and no emergency services needed — you just want help or information.
• Iʼd like to be connected to a county service or resource.
• I have questions about my local government in Multnomah County

Troutdale's Public Safety & Equity Advisory Committee (PSEAC for short) wants to help our community stay ready. Emergencies can happen when we least expect them — and when they do, first responders may not always be able to reach everyone right away. That's why the most important step any of us can take is being prepared to care for ourselves and those around us. The more of us who are ready, the faster our community recovers together.

For more information on how to stay safe, before, during, and after emergencies, visit the city's Emergency Preparedness page, where you can also sign up for county alert notifications by text, email, and phone calls.

⚠️TRAFFIC ALERT: Expect intermittent traffic flagging on the Historic Columbia River Highway between Larch Mountain Road and Vista House starting the week of June 8.

The Oregon Department of Transportation is repairing a historic rock wall lost in a March landslide. Work is expected to take about six weeks, with lane closures and flagging primarily during the first two weeks — weekdays, roughly 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. After that, closures should be occasional.

ODOT does not anticipate a full highway closure at any point.

(The file photo from ODOT shows crews preparing to reopen the Historic Columbia River Highway on March 17 after emergency repair to the travel lanes. Yoiu can see the section of the historic rock wall that was lost in the slide.)

There’s nothing quite like a summer evening strolling through historic downtown Troutdale. And there’s no better way to do it than at our First Friday Street Fair !

If you're joining us on Friday evening, it’s a good idea to plan ahead for parking. Historic Columbia River Highway closes to vehicle traffic at 2:30 PM, so downtown parking will be limited.

🅿️ Limited parking is available on side streets and in public lots throughout downtown.

🚌 Skip the parking hunt and ride the FREE Sasquatch Shuttle! Service runs every 20–25 minutes beginning at 4:30 PM between:

• Columbia Gorge Outlets
• Troutdale Art Center
• Gateway to the Gorge Visitor Center

The last shuttle departs the Visitor Center at 9:30 PM.

♿ Accessible parking is available above the Discovery Blocks building for vehicles displaying a disabled parking placard.

A little planning goes a long way toward a relaxing evening of live music, local art, great food, and community fun.
