From Monday, July 13 through Thursday, August 6, students will have the opportunity to build important kindergarten readiness skills through fun, engaging activities designed to support a smooth transition into school.

🍎🤝 Supporting our community this summer!

As part of Trotwood-Madison City Schools' Summer Food Service Program, staff members recently prepared and distributed meals to local families at Madison Park Elementary. ❤️🖤🐏

Trotwood-Madison Board of Education Member Aaron Lumpkin also joined the effort during the Wednesday, June 10 meal distribution, helping serve and connect with community members.

We are grateful for the staff, volunteers, and community leaders who make this program possible and help ensure families have access to nutritious meals throughout the summer months. Thank you for helping us serve Ram Nation! ❤️

🌟 ✈️ Trotwood-Madison City Schools was represented on a national stage!

TMCS elementary STEM teachers Mrs. Larson and Mrs. Cossey recently presented at the National Science Teaching Association Conference in California, where they shared the innovative STEM learning experiences happening throughout our district. ❤️ 🖤 🐏

During their presentation, they highlighted the creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and hands-on learning opportunities helping Trotwood-Madison students build skills for the future.

We are incredibly proud of Mrs. Larson and Mrs. Cossey for representing our district and showcasing the amazing work taking place in TMCS classrooms every day! 👏 ✨

🚀✨ Before summer break, Madison Park Elementary wrapped up STEAM Week with an exciting STEMtoSky event!

Mrs. Larson, Madison Park’s STEM Teacher, welcomed Dr. Kara Combs, a computer engineer, and Mr. Aaron Washington, a computer scientist from the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL), who spoke with students about STEM career opportunities in the Air Force. ❤️🖤🐏

As part of the experience, third-grade students received gliders and second-grade students received foam rockets thanks to support from the Civil Air Patrol. Second-grade students also received fidget spinners, while third-grade students received pencils from AFRL.

This hands-on event helped inspire curiosity, creativity, and future STEM learning opportunities for our students while bringing STEAM Week to an exciting close. 👏
