(Trotwood, Ohio) โ At their Regular City Council Meeting held Monday, January 5, 2026, the Trotwood City Council voted unanimously to place a renewal of the existing 5.75 mill levy on the May 2026 ballot.
The renewal of the existing 5.75 mill levy will run for five (5) years and has been certified by the Montgomery County Auditor to provide an estimated property tax revenue of $1,274,252. The levy will not have any additional costs for homeowners because it is a renewal. The 5.75 mill renewal levy costs the owner of a $100,000 home $122.14 per year.
The 5.75 mill operating levy was first passed by voters in 2001, with renewals in 2006, 2011, 2016, and 2021.
